Summer School Transition Program
August 5, 2008
Soon-to-be Southeast Middle School students had the opportunity to Think Green for their Transition Program Service Project during July. Students really dug into the project of creating an organic green space to grow vegetables and flowers. Over 180 incoming 9th graders participated in this special summer school program that gives students early access the middle school experience while boosting math and literacy study skills. This program is a success in large part to the dedicated and enthusiastic staff at Southeast. Thank you for Thinking Green!
