Congratulations to Our Two Teachers of the Year in Local District 6

Congratulations to two LAUSD 2010-2011 Teachers of the Year:
Flor Rocio Carias, from Madison Elementary School, has been teaching all subjects there for five years. A resident of Whittier, she has been a teacher for 10 years.
Antonia Guzman, a resident of Norwalk, has been a teacher for 11 years. She has been a high school English and journalism teacher at the International Studies Learning Center in South Gate for four years.
Congratulations to these and all of our outstanding teachers who work tirelessly throughout the year to provide the best learning opportunities for our students.
